an eBay rampage

I took my eBay widget off my blog because it was obnoxious and I rarely sold things on there. Of course, just a few days later I came across these two pairs of dress shoes and decided to list them.

I bought both via the internet for Sara’s wedding, searching for just the right color and style to match our beautiful bridesmaids dresses. (Yeah, I said beautiful. Sara’s got good taste and Kit and I agreed on the dress within seconds.)

In the end, I wore a pair of beaded flats I found at Garden Ridge for $6. Incredible! As Sara and Joe’s anniversary is coming up and I still have never worn either pair of these shoes, they’ve got to go.

Did you know there’s 267,000 pairs of shoes on eBay right now?!?!?!?

My mom gave me this lil’ canvas photo bag for christmas, which a particuarly bad picture of Jim and myself stuck in the upper left pocket. I’m not sure if that was the whole project for her or if she was just getting me started, but I went off in a whole other direction. I needed a lunch bag and wanted to go with a food theme; I honestly can’t get enough sushi but I think it’s kind of played out and cliche when it comes to artwork n stuff. So while this will work for now I am not in love with it – and can easily switch it out when the mood strikes, which is nice. When I do commit to something I plan to laminate the images and do some crazy stitching on the tops of the pockets to secure them.
