starfishies
My summer project…Jennie is a friend at work, and she’s using a starfish motif for her ivory-and-chocolate wedding next year. She found these great Save-the-Date magnets here, and I used those as a guide.
We’re both very pleased with how they turned out – though several of our co-workers thought they were some kind of white chocolate desserts. As if I’d actually be able to come up with something like that – paper is much easier to me than food!

I as just curious to know how these star fish save the dates were packaged for shipping.

They just went out in padded brown envelopes. The place I bought the starfish from said finger starfish are very sturdy and wouldn’t break in the mail – and they didn’t! Jennie went on to use sand dollars for her escort cards and those were much more fragile – we lost a bunch of them just in shipping from the supplier. So again she made a good choice as far as what got mailed and what got passed out at the wedding!
